Nissan's new luxury hybrid drive will be bigger than the drive that Nissan currently leases from Toyota for the Altima hybrid. Similarly, the new drive will come with a lithium-ion battery instead of the NiMH batteries powering both the Altima hybrid and Toyota's hybrid vehicles.
