Some complain that the 3-series has become too heavy and soft, and over the years the car has done that. For those who want a more hardcore drive, the 1-series will be it. The car will most likely come at first with a 125 and 130, and later on possibly the 335's twin turboed engine will be dropped in.
The 130 should already easily get to 0-60 in around 6 seconds, since the car will only weigh around 3000 lbs. If the twin turbo does get dropped in, the car should rocket to 60 in about 5 seconds.
